Rules and Regulations of Bayer Park
- Before using the attractions of “Bayer Park,” every person is required to read and understand the provisions of these regulations. Use of “Bayer Park” confirms acknowledgment of the rules and obligates the user to strictly comply with them.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for reading and explaining the Park Regulations before entering “Bayer Park” to children and any other persons in their care. They must also read and explain the informational signs, notices, and specific attraction regulations before use.
- The Park Regulations are available to everyone at the ticket offices and on the website www.bayerpark.pl.
- Entry to “Bayer Park” during its opening days and hours is permitted to persons who have paid for admission or possess a gift voucher, the use of which is governed by these regulations. Ticket prices are set out in the price list.
- A Water Park employee may refuse to sell a ticket if the attendance limit has been reached or for other safety-related reasons.
- The “Bayer Park” Water Park is open only in favorable weather conditions (during hours suitable for safe use of the attractions). In case of rain or other weather conditions that may endanger safety, “Bayer Park” may be temporarily closed.
- A nominal voucher may only be used within its period of validity, i.e., during the season of operation of “Bayer Park” in which it was issued. The voucher may not be exchanged, in whole or in part, for cash or any other form of payment.
- The safety of individuals on the attractions of “Bayer Park” is overseen by lifeguards and staff members wearing clearly distinguishable uniforms.
- To increase safety, each participant will be issued a life vest, which must be worn throughout the activity. The life vest may be removed on land and must then be returned to the rental point.
- Every person on the premises of “Bayer Park” is required to immediately inform rescue services or the facility manager of any accidents, missing persons, or other extraordinary events that may affect the safety of individuals.
- The following individuals are allowed to use “Bayer Park”:
- persons who can swim,
- the minimum age for children to enter “Bayer Park” is 3 years. Children aged 3 to 6 must be accompanied by a parent who directly supervises the child on the attractions from entry until exit,
- children and adolescents under 18 who can swim, must be under the constant supervision of an adult,
- adults who can swim,
- persons learning to swim under the supervision of an instructor with appropriate qualifications,
- persons with disabilities, under the direct supervision of a guardian.
- The following individuals are not permitted to enter “Bayer Park”:
- those under the influence of alcohol or similar substances,
- those with visible skin injuries,
- those showing symptoms of illnesses that could increase the risk of drowning or whose behavior may pose a danger to others,
- those disturbing public order or violating these regulations or generally accepted standards of behavior.
- Persons with unstable health conditions (e.g., heart disease, circulatory or balance disorders) use “Bayer Park” with particular caution, after consulting a doctor, and at their own risk.
- Guests with health issues and pregnant women are strongly advised not to use attractions involving significant height or speed due to safety concerns.
- Swimwear is mandatory at “Bayer Park”:
- for women: one-piece or two-piece swimwear,
- for men: swim shorts.
- Swimwear must meet hygienic, aesthetic, and moral standards. It must not contain zippers or any metal/plastic inserts that could pose a risk to health or damage the equipment of “Bayer Park.”
- On the premises of “Bayer Park,” order, cleanliness, respectful behavior, and strict compliance with the instructions of lifeguards and park staff are mandatory.
- The owner of “Bayer Park” reserves the right to temporarily restrict access to all or part of the facility. Areas out of service are strictly off-limits.
- Guests are not entitled to refunds or discounts if any device or attraction is unavailable. Information about availability is provided at the ticket office.
- Users of “Bayer Park” must not create situations that endanger the safety of others, in particular:
- unfastening or removing life vests (their own or others’), pushing, throwing others into the water, or submerging others,
- diving or performing breath-hold exercises without permission and lifeguard supervision,
- damaging equipment or littering the premises,
- bringing in or introducing any animals,
- tampering with or deflating inflatable attractions,
- damaging the mounts of inflatable elements.
- The following activities are strictly prohibited in “Bayer Park”:
- smoking, consuming alcohol or intoxicants, or using prohibited substances,
- carrying or possessing weapons or other dangerous items, explosives, pyrotechnics, flammable materials, drugs, intoxicants, psychotropic substances, so-called “legal highs” or any other items that may endanger the health or life of others in the Park,
- using equipment with glass components (e.g., glasses, masks, contact lenses) and cosmetics in glass packaging,
- bringing into “Bayer Park” any clothing, mobile phones, music or audio equipment, cans, sharp tools, or other dangerous objects that may fall or detach during attraction use,
- bringing in safety, sports, or training equipment without the lifeguard’s consent,
- bringing and using personal diving equipment without the manager’s approval,
- chewing gum while in “Bayer Park”,
- spitting on attractions or into the water,
- urinating or defecating on park elements or into the water,
- bringing in and consuming any alcoholic beverages,
- removing from the Park any items that belong to “Bayer Park”,
- polluting or littering “Bayer Park”,
- damaging or destroying items that belong to “Bayer Park” or other persons,
- engaging in any behavior that discriminates against other Guests (e.g., racism, antisemitism, xenophobia, homophobia).
- Only persons aged 14 and older may use the “Iceberg” attraction, and they do so at their own risk.
- Within “Bayer Park”, the group supervisor is responsible for order, appropriate behavior, and safety of the group. The supervisor must remain with the group from entry until the last participant leaves the premises.
- All users of “Bayer Park” are required to leave the premises by 8:00 PM.
- The following sound signals apply: 1 short whistle – rule violation, series of short whistles – “alarm”. In the event of an “alarm” signal, all Guests must immediately exit the water and leave the “Bayer Park” area.
- Use of the “Bayer Park” attractions is available in uninterrupted sessions of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 60 minutes, depending on the selected ticket.
- Playtime is counted from the moment the life vest is issued and the participant is cleared for entry by park staff until the participant exits the attractions and returns the vest to the designated point or to park employees. Alternatively, time is tracked from the activation of the transponder and stops once the transponder is returned to the ticket office. Any exceeded time will incur an additional fee of 10 PLN per started 15 minutes.
- All injuries, accidents, and irregularities must be immediately reported to the on-duty lifeguard or “Bayer Park” staff.
- To ensure safety, “Bayer Park” is marked with mandatory and prohibited signs. Guests must plan their activities, and those of their dependents, in accordance with their own physical condition, health status, and current weather conditions.
- Persons disturbing public order or violating these regulations or accepted standards of behavior will be asked to leave “Bayer Park”. In such cases, no ticket refunds will be issued.
- Complaints are accepted exclusively in electronic form by sending an email with the subject line: COMPLAINT to the following address: bayerpark@gmail.com.
- Persons who damage equipment or devices belonging to “Bayer Park” will bear financial responsibility for the damages caused. For minors, financial responsibility is borne by their guardians.
- The park management is not responsible for any valuables left within “Bayer Park”. Any lost or found items should be reported immediately to the staff. Keeping found items constitutes a legal violation.
- Lost property should be reported at the “Bayer Park” ticket offices or via email at: bayerpark@gmail.com, with the subject line: LOST AND FOUND. The email should include a description of the lost item sufficient to identify the item, including details such as its color.
- Items found or left in “Bayer Park”, if located by Water Park staff or returned by a third party, can be picked up at the “Bayer Park” ticket office, provided they were previously reported as lost according to this regulation.
- The owner of “Bayer Park” shall not be held responsible for accidents or incidents arising from non-compliance with these regulations or from negligent behaviors that contradict general safety principles for the use of water facilities and recreational equipment.
- “Bayer Park” shall not be held responsible for damage to swimwear, unless such damage is caused directly by the fault of “Bayer Park”.
- “Bayer Park” shall not be responsible for failure to read these regulations or the usage instructions for water attractions, or for non-compliance with directions and instructions issued by the “Bayer Park” personnel, including lifeguards.
- In the event of early departure from the Water Park, i.e., unused paid time, no refunds will be issued for unused time.
- The transponder (RFID key) is activated by the staff at the ticket office when issued to the Guest. The transponder remains the property of “Bayer Park” and must be returned to the ticket office upon leaving the park. Guests are responsible for paying for any services and goods registered on the transponder.
- In case of loss or damage to the transponder, the Guest will be required to pay a contractual penalty of 49 PLN for the device. Any loss or damage must be immediately reported to the ticket office staff.
- Guests should remember that there is a high risk of slipping within the Water Park.
- Every Guest must be aware of the increased risk of accidents on wet surfaces. Special caution should be exercised in the area near the slides.
- Guests using the slides must ensure they do not create risky situations for themselves or others. In particular, the following actions are prohibited:
- turning forward/backward during descent,
- stopping in the slide or exit area,
- climbing up the slide from the bottom,
- running, pushing, or forcing others to slide at the starting platform,
- using the slide without water flow,
- sliding in groups unless allowed by specific slide instructions,
- sliding while wearing jewelry, watches, necklaces, or video recording devices.
- The Water Park is equipped with a monitoring system operated by the Owner. This system is intended to ensure the safety of people and property of both Guests and the Owner. The Owner is responsible for managing the system in compliance with applicable laws, particularly those concerning personal rights protection. By entering “Bayer Park,” the Guest consents to being monitored during their stay and for the recorded material to be used for assessing disputes and verifying compliance with the Park’s regulations.
- A maximum of 50 people may be present in “Bayer Park” at one time. The Owner of “Bayer Park” reserves the right to change the number of allowed visitors, which does not constitute a change to these regulations.
- In the case of organized groups, one guardian may supervise: no more than 10 minors (under 18 years of age), or no more than 25 adult participants. For participants with disabilities, the number of individuals per guardian should comply with relevant legal provisions, depending on the type of disability and the health condition of the participants.
- Before using “Bayer Park,” guardians should assess the psychophysical development and swimming abilities of children and choose appropriate attractions accordingly.
- Water attractions should be used in accordance with their intended purpose, ensuring one’s own safety as well as that of others. Movement on the water attractions may affect other users’ ability to maintain balance. It should be noted that users of “Bayer Park” have varying physical abilities. The rights of less physically able persons to move at their own pace must be respected.
- If unsure how to use an attraction, guests are advised to consult “Bayer Park” staff before use.
- “Bayer Park” reserves the right to amend these regulations at any time, if deemed necessary for improving Guest service or for safety reasons.
- These Regulations enter into force on May 25, 2023, and apply to all agreements concluded from that date onward.
